Many promotions claim to be the Premier Mixed Martial Arts Organization to work with. Unfortunately, few live up to their own hype. In 2010 three former professional combat sports fighters exchanged personal horror stories encountered while competing. Things such as walking over broken glass to get to a ring. Having to change into fight shorts with only a towel being held up separating them from the crowd. Huge cuts being closed with crazy glue because no Cage Side Physician was present. Those three men decided on the spot they would not allow their students to endure the same mistreatment. On that night Victory CFC was born.
What sets Victory Cage Fighting Championships apart from the others? Simple; it was conceived built and grown with fulfilling the needs of fighters and fans as it’s primary mission. Fans and Fighters come first, never the wallet. While other promoters took selfies with stars of the UFC, Victory founders lobbied to have state sanctioning approved by inviting negative vote state representatives to their events. One by one, after seeing how safely combat sports could be run, they changed their votes. Sanctioned MMA became a reality.
11 years and countless combat sports events later, Victory CFC is still going strong! We take the profits from each event and reinvest them into our next show, striving to make each better than the last. We never require fighters to sell tickets or mismatch fights like other promotions. We only ask fighters to come prepared to leave it all in the cage. Fighters and Fans put in front of profit seems like such a simple formula, but it seems to be one that has eluded other ‘premier’ promotions. We consistently set attendance records other organizations can only dream of. We have no plans of stopping anytime soon. We will continue to provide a stage that has launched fighters into careers with organizations like the UFC and Bellator.
